Impact Sports believes sport is primarily about fun. Themes, adventures, and stories are worked into our program's curriculum in order to promote pretend play and ensure greatest attention span / learning. The combination of pretend and active play in our sessions allow children the best opportunity... not only to learn a sport, but also improve their overall physical health and provide foundations of important learning such as creative problem solving skills! Every child is unique, therefore individualized learning is essential to a quality sport and physical education program. Trainers at Impact Sports are able to differentiate sessions and instructions of activities in an efficient and effective manner to accommodate for personalized learning. We believe in meeting each child "where they are" in terms of strengths, needs, and weaknesses related to engagement in physical activities. (Follow the link to read the research).
Studies suggest that being physically fit has a positive effect on relational memory (the ability to recall and assimilate different types of information). Impact Sports seeks to raise the physical fitness level of children in all programs, specifically utilizing the FitKid events! (Follow the link to read the research).
